New drug combo shows promise in Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

Summary

This study tests whether adding a new drug called cirtuvivint to standard chemotherapy can help people with small cell lung cancer that has come back after initial treatment. About 42 adults whose cancer has progressed after at least one prior therapy will receive the combination. The goal is to see if the new drug is safe and improves tumor shrinkage and delays cancer growth.
