First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a proven sleep treatment (CBT-I) can improve depression and anxiety by targeting the brain's emotion control network. Researchers will use brain scans to see if better sleep changes brain activity. The study involves 120 adults with insomnia and depression, and aims to find a new way to ease symptoms without medication.
