Can better sleep slow down memory loss? new therapy offers hope
NCT ID NCT03256539
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether improving sleep patterns could help people with mild cognitive impairment or early Alzheimer's disease. Researchers developed a non-drug program combining bright light therapy and behavioral techniques to regulate daytime and nighttime sleep. They aimed to see if this approach was practical to use and whether it might improve both sleep quality and cognitive function in older adults.
