Could a headband replace the sleep lab for Alzheimer's patients?
NCT ID NCT07485153
First seen Apr 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a simple headband worn at home can measure sleep stages as accurately as a full sleep lab test in people with early or symptom-free Alzheimer's. About 35 participants will wear both devices at the same time for two nights in a lab, then use the headband alone at home for three nights. The goal is to see if the headband can reliably track sleep, which could make future Alzheimer's research easier and less burdensome.
