New study aims to help people with type 1 diabetes sleep better and control blood sugar

Summary

This study tests a cognitive behavioral program designed to improve sleep and blood sugar levels in adults with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will enroll 48 people aged 31 to 75 who have had diabetes for at least one year and have poor sleep. Participants will learn strategies to improve sleep habits and will have their sleep and glucose levels tracked over several weeks.
