First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early study tests a new deep brain stimulation (DBS) approach that adjusts stimulation based on whether the person is awake or asleep. Four adults with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome will receive a Medtronic Percept DBS device. Researchers will compare personalized day/night stimulation to standard continuous stimulation to see if it better reduces motor seizures and improves sleep and quality of life.
