Could a simple nighttime device help slow memory decline?
NCT ID NCT07353359
Summary
This study is testing whether a nasal device that creates gentle suction (iNAP) can help improve thinking and memory in older adults who have both early memory loss (mild cognitive impairment) and moderate-to-severe sleep apnea. For 24 weeks, 60 participants will either use the device nightly or receive only sleep advice. Researchers will measure changes in memory test scores, sleep quality, and brain health markers to see if the device helps.
