Could a simple nighttime device slow down memory loss?

NCT ID NCT07353359

Summary

This study is testing whether a nightly nasal device, which uses gentle suction to keep the airway open, can help improve memory and thinking in people with early memory loss who also have moderate-to-severe sleep apnea. About 65 participants will be randomly assigned to either use the device nightly for 24 weeks or receive only sleep hygiene advice. Researchers will measure changes in memory test scores, sleep quality, and brain health markers to see if the treatment helps.
