Summary
This study compared two surgical approaches for children with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who have small tonsils or Down syndrome. It tested a personalized surgery guided by a special sleep scope (DISE) against the standard removal of tonsils and adenoids. The goal was to see if the personalized approach leads to better sleep and quality of life outcomes for these children.
