First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at older veterans who have both sleep apnea and COPD (a lung condition) to see if having both conditions harms thinking and memory more than having just one. Researchers will also test if treatments like breathing machines or extra oxygen can improve brain function and quality of life. About 108 veterans aged 60 and older will take part.
