First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a CPAP machine in a personalized way can lower the amount of time people with sleep apnea spend in atrial fibrillation (AFib). Twenty adults with both conditions will have their heart monitored via an implanted device. Each person will alternate periods with and without CPAP to see which works better for them.
