Researchers test which skin cancer grading system best predicts risk
NCT ID NCT05695222
Summary
This study aims to find out which existing grading system best predicts which patients with a common skin cancer (cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma) are at higher risk of the cancer coming back or spreading. Researchers will look at the medical records of 1,500 patients from two UK clinics to see how well current staging methods match actual patient outcomes. The goal is to help doctors better identify patients who need closer monitoring.
