First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving people personalized information about their skin cancer risk can encourage them to protect their skin. About 2,900 adults from community health centers will provide a saliva sample for genetic testing and answer questions about their sun habits. The goal is to see if tailored risk feedback leads to less tanning, fewer sunburns, and more skin self-exams.
