NCT ID NCT07396857

First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how sitting for 2 hours straight affects blood pressure over the next 24 hours in healthy adults aged 18-65. Researchers will measure artery function and blood pressure before, during, and after sitting, and test if blocking certain artery-relaxing chemicals changes the response. The goal is to understand the hidden effects of prolonged sitting on heart health.
