Gene test: does sitagliptin work differently in some people?
NCT ID NCT04323189
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at how the diabetes drug sitagliptin affects people who have a natural genetic change that lowers their DPP4 enzyme levels. Researchers will compare blood sugar and enzyme activity in 20 adults with and without this gene variant. The goal is to learn more about how the drug works, not to provide a new treatment.
