Summary

This study tests a new use of targeted radiation to the spleen in 18 adults with gastrointestinal cancer who have low platelet counts and an enlarged spleen from chemotherapy. The goal is to find the safest radiation dose that can raise platelet levels and reduce bleeding risks. Participants will receive one treatment and be monitored for side effects over 28 days.
