NCT ID NCT07410728
First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked back at the records of 471 women who had breast cancer surgery with immediate breast reconstruction. It compared a newer method using a tiny camera through small cuts (endoscopic surgery) to the traditional method with a larger cut. The goal was to see which approach leads to fewer complications and higher patient satisfaction. No new treatments or tests were given; the study simply analyzed existing data to help future patients and doctors choose the best option.
