First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a single injection of hyaluronic acid can safely reduce pain and stiffness in adults with knee osteoarthritis. Normally, several shots are needed, but one dose could mean fewer clinic visits and lower costs. Researchers will review medical records from 133 people aged 40 to 70 with painful knee OA.
