NCT ID NCT07433946

First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special nutritional drink (LH VIOLA) to standard dietary advice helps people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who are at risk of malnutrition. About 146 adults with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis will either get counseling alone or counseling plus the drink for 16 weeks. The goal is to see if the drink helps them maintain or gain weight and improve muscle strength.
