Can a good Night's sleep in the hospital speed up stroke recovery?
NCT ID NCT04254484
Summary
This study tested whether improving sleep for stroke patients during their hospital rehabilitation could help them recover better. Researchers worked with 400 stroke patients to implement a program that trained staff to reduce nighttime disruptions and screened for treatable breathing problems during sleep. The goal was to see if better sleep led to improved daily function, walking, balance, and overall recovery.
