Summary
This study looked at whether adding an extra nerve block in the armpit to the standard shoulder block can reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers after shoulder replacement surgery. Twelve adults having shoulder replacement took part. The goal was to see if the extra block helps people leave the recovery room faster and feel less pain.
