First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at whether early surgery or rehabilitation is better for teenagers (ages 12-18) who have dislocated their shoulder for the first time. The goal is to see which approach reduces the chance of the shoulder dislocating again and improves pain and function. Thirty participants will be followed for one year to help plan a larger study.
