Frozen shoulder breakthrough: MRI may predict best treatment response
NCT ID NCT04653636
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at 55 adults with severe frozen shoulder (pain and stiffness for at least 3 months) to find out which factors predict a better response to a treatment called arthrographic distension combined with intensive physiotherapy. The goal was to see if MRI scans and clinical signs could identify who would have the most pain and function improvement one month later. The results could help doctors choose the best treatment for each patient.
