Shorter radiation before sarcoma surgery may be just as safe and effective

Summary
This study is for people with soft tissue sarcoma who need radiation before surgery. It compares a standard 14-session radiation schedule with a shorter 5-session schedule to see if the shorter course causes fewer wound complications after surgery while still controlling the tumor. About 150 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two radiation plans.
