Shockwaves may soothe neuropathy heel pain

Summary
This study tests if extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) can reduce pain and improve walking in people with both peripheral neuropathy and plantar fasciitis. About 114 adults with nerve damage and chronic heel pain will receive ESWT. The goal is to see if this non-invasive treatment offers relief for this hard-to-treat condition.
