Night shifts may strain healthcare Workers' hearts, study investigates

NCT ID NCT07331233

Summary

This study aims to understand how working night shifts might affect heart function in healthcare workers. Researchers will compare 60 hospital staff who work night shifts with those who don't, using heart ultrasounds and health questionnaires. The goal is to identify risk factors and see if shift work is linked to changes in how the heart relaxes between beats.
