Summary
This study looked at whether a type of diabetes medicine (SGLT2 inhibitors) helps people with severe heart failure who also have a mechanical heart pump (LVAD). 32 adults took the drug for 6 months. Researchers measured changes in heart size, weight, and kidney function. The goal was to see if the drug could improve heart health in these patients.
