Summary
This small study looked at how a class of diabetes drugs called SGLT2 inhibitors might reduce inflammation related to heart and kidney health. Six adults without prior use of these drugs took the medication for three days. Researchers measured changes in inflammation markers to understand the drugs' effects, but this was not a treatment study.
