Summary

This study looks at whether empagliflozin, a drug used for diabetes, can help blood vessels and heart muscle work better after a heart attack. About 80 adults who had a severe heart attack will take the drug or not, and be followed for 12 months. The goal is to see if it reduces stiffness in arteries and improves heart function.
