Stroke recovery gets intimate: nursing care boosts sexual health

Summary
This study tested a special nursing program to help stroke patients and their partners manage sexual problems after a stroke. Thirty Italian stroke patients and their partners took part. The program included personalized counseling and education over six months. Results showed improvements in body awareness, sexual function, relationships, and quality of life.
