First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at whether special sexual nursing care can help stroke patients and their partners deal with sexual problems after a stroke. 30 Italian stroke patients and their partners took part. One group got personalized counseling and education from trained nurses, while the other got standard care. Over six months, the group receiving sexual nursing care reported better body awareness, fewer sexual issues, and improved quality of life for both patients and partners.
