NCT ID NCT04385082

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether cannabis works differently for pain relief and carries different abuse risks in men versus women. Researchers will give cannabis to 160 people aged 21-55 who already use it 1-7 days a week. They will measure pain tolerance, drug effects, and blood levels of THC to understand sex-based differences.
