Summary
This study looked at whether having a well-organized emergency system helps more people survive severe injuries. Researchers compared death rates within 28 days for patients treated in a structured system versus a non-structured one. Over 2,100 adults who had severe trauma and arrived at the hospital alive took part. The goal was to see if organization of care makes a difference in survival.
