Summary
This study aimed to compare two treatments for walled-off necrosis, a complication of severe pancreatitis. It would have randomly assigned adults to either an endoscopic or surgical procedure to remove dead tissue. The goal was to see which approach works better and has fewer complications. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants.
