Summary
This study tested whether drugs that boost serotonin (like some psychedelics) increase pro-social behavior compared to drugs that boost dopamine. 122 healthy adults completed tasks measuring empathy, generosity, and social bonding. The goal was to understand how brain chemicals influence social behavior, not to treat any disease.
