NCT ID NCT07434765

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compared two surgical techniques for fixing a deviated nasal septum (a crooked nose bone inside the nose). 210 people aged 16 to 50 with symptoms were split into two groups: one got traditional septoplasty, the other got a less invasive endoscopic version. The goal was to see which method leads to fewer problems like the septum still being crooked, a hole in the septum, or scar tissue forming.
