NCT ID NCT07434765
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compared two surgical techniques for fixing a deviated nasal septum: traditional septoplasty and a more conservative endoscopic approach. 210 patients aged 16 to 50 with symptoms were randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries. The goal was to see which method led to fewer problems like a crooked septum after surgery, a hole in the septum, or scar tissue forming.
