First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at how sepsis changes the RNA in immune cells over time. Researchers will follow 200 sepsis patients, 50 other critically ill patients, and 40 healthy controls to map these changes. No treatments are tested; the goal is to better understand why immune problems persist after sepsis.
