Scientists probe why half of us have sensitive scalps
NCT ID NCT07156422
Summary
This study aims to understand the biological reasons behind sensitive scalp, a common condition causing itching, burning, or tingling. Researchers will compare small skin samples from 40 women—20 with sensitive scalp and 20 without—to look for differences in genes, proteins, and nerve endings. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about this condition, not to test a treatment.
