Smart sensors aim to cut fall risk for seniors with memory loss

Summary
This study tests a system called Sense4Safety that uses home sensors and a coach to help older adults with mild cognitive impairment reduce their risk of falling. About 200 people aged 65 and older who live in senior communities will take part. The system monitors movement, spots rising fall risk, and provides personalized plans to stay safe.
