First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at how much stress surgeons feel during hip and knee replacement surgeries, comparing traditional methods with robot-assisted ones. Six experienced orthopedic surgeons will wear a brain-monitoring headband and heart rate monitors while they operate. The goal is to understand which approach is less mentally and physically taxing for the surgical team.
