First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug, senicapoc, in people with mild or early Alzheimer's disease. The goal is to see if it can reduce brain inflammation and slow down memory loss. About 55 participants will take either the drug or a placebo for 52 weeks. This is an early-phase trial to check if the drug works as expected, not a cure.
