First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at two popular weight-loss medications, semaglutide and tirzepatide, and whether adding a structured exercise program helps people with obesity lose more fat while keeping muscle. About 48 adults aged 25-60 with a BMI between 30 and 40 will take one of the drugs and either exercise or not. The goal is to see which approach improves body composition, strength, and overall health.
