First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called selnoflast in 162 people with atherosclerosis (hardened arteries) who are at high risk for heart attacks or strokes. Participants will receive either selnoflast or a placebo on top of their usual heart medications. The goal is to see if selnoflast can reduce inflammation inside the arteries, which may lower the chance of future heart problems.
