First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether a smartwatch and weekly health coaching could help people caring for a loved one with dementia improve their sleep, activity, and mood. Twenty-one caregivers wore an Apple Watch to track their sleep and activity, received personalized feedback through a phone app, and talked with a health coach each week for up to six weeks. The goal was to reduce symptoms of depression and insomnia.
