NCT ID NCT07115940

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether removing a blood clot from the brain up to 72 hours after a stroke helps people recover better than medication alone. About 408 adults with severe stroke will be randomly assigned to get either the clot removal procedure plus standard care, or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the procedure improves daily functioning 3 months later.
