Brain implant aims to forecast seizures before they strike

NCT ID NCT07012148

Summary

This study is testing whether a small device implanted under the scalp can safely predict when a seizure is about to happen in people whose epilepsy is not controlled by medication. The device records brain waves and works with wearable sensors to create a seizure forecast. The goal is to see if this warning system can help people better manage their condition and improve their quality of life.
