NCT ID NCT07620912

First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 100 adults with COPD who needed a breathing tube and a ventilator. It compared two approaches: giving sedation with daily breaks versus giving no sedation at all. The goal was to see which method leads to more days off the ventilator and fewer complications in the ICU.
