NCT ID NCT07181967
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether a silver liquid (SDF) is better than standard fluoride varnish at reducing cavity-causing bacteria in children aged 3-8 with cavities on both sides of the mouth. Each child will get SDF on one side and fluoride varnish on the other, and bacteria levels will be checked over 3 months. The goal is to see which treatment works better to control tooth decay.
