New study probes protein clues in PCOS and heart disease link

Summary
This study will measure levels of two proteins, SCUBE-1 and SCUBE-3, in the blood of women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and compare them to healthy women. Researchers want to see if these proteins are linked to inflammation and a higher risk of heart problems. About 56 women aged 18-35 will take part. The goal is to better understand the connection between PCOS and heart disease, not to test a new treatment.
